Abstract This document is a summary of an interrogation of the witness on the noted date. The chief feature of this interrogation is Doenitz's denial of knowledge concerning the conditions that prevailed inside the concentration camps. All Germans, he avers, knew concentration camps existed, but no one, he claims, knew what was happening inside them. This document is a typewritten copy of fair quality on very brown paper.
