Abstract This letter to General Donovan from General Walter Warlimont acts an introduction to the latter's study, "The German General Staff and Nationalsocialism." The letter alludes to other writings in progress by Warlimont and suggests that a small group of German Generals draw up a comprehensive testimony that one of their number would read in court. Perhaps most notably, the letter thanks Donovan for suggesting Warlimont himself deliver testimony in open court. This document is a typewritten carbon copy of good quality on thin, generally stable paper.
