Abstract In this interrogation summary, Herbert Buechs, Air Corps Aide to General Jodl, states that Jodl was "the only one he knew of who could oppose Hitler on decisions," but that Jodl "opposed Hitler... only on military matters" and not on politics. Buechs also supplies general, and rather incidental, information regarding his duties to brief Hitler on the "air situation" on the Western and Eastern Fronts, and the manner in which Hitler addressed various persons. More significant are the examples he provides of Jodl's ability to oppose Hitler. This document is a typewritten copy on brittle, browning paper.
