Abstract This analysis briefly summarizes Goering's testimony concerning Hitler's remarks on an eastward expansion of German territory. The intention of the interrogator seems to have been to confirm certain pieces of information contained in Hoszbach's notes without asking Goering directly to "'authenticate' any document" (presumably of Hoszbach). This document is a typewritten copy on fragile, browning paper.
