Abstract This document states Hitler's intention to invade Russia and destroy the "mass of the Russian Army in Western Russia." Hitler calls upon the German Armed Forces to be "prepared to crush Soviet Russia in a quick compaign [sic] before the end of the war against England." In effect, Hitler is preparing to fight a major war on two fronts. This document is a typewritten copy made on fragile, browning paper. It is identified as the "4th copy" of "9 copies" and is marked "SECRET / only through officer."
