Abstract This document outlines the terms of Hitler's proposed invasion of England. All three branches of the German military have assigned responsibilities but control of the operation overall remains with Hitler. The landing is to take the form of a surprise attack along a broad front; its purpose is "to eliminate the English homeland as a basis for the carrying on of the war against Germany" (p. 1). This document is a typewritten copy made on fragile, browning paper. It is identified as the "4th copy" of "7 copies" and is marked "Top Secret / --Transmit by officer courier only."
