Collection Scope and Content Note

Photographs documenting gay men's lives and men's bodies, styles, and activities from the 1850s to 2010 and associated magazines, programs from events, and ephemera. Includes physique and nude photography by Bruce of L.A. and others and photographs of men in the military, in athletics, in ballet, and portraits of men together.

Periodicals include mainly physique magazines and gay erotica. Also included are calendars, sound recordings, and gay-themed comic books.
