BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Louisiana pioneer of Gay Hippie art.

Gleep's works were exhibited in the National Erotic Art Exhibition in San Diego (1973), the Gabriel Gallery in Madison, Wis., and the International Museum of Erotic Art in San Francisco and were published in GPU News (Gay Peoples Union, Milwaukee), Fag Rag, Gay Sunshine, and Mirage, a transsexual magazine. In June 1976, he was one of 12 patients in the schizophrenic ward research project at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. After that, no more is known of his fate.
