The Diane Ackerman collection consists of manuscripts, galley proofs, and reproductions of her published and unpublished writings, which include nature books, novels, poetry, essays, and articles. The collection includes research materials and notes, photographs, photocopies, press badges, and other printed material. Chief among her books are:
