"Havana Station" was the name of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Havana while it was still a charge on a circuit (not yet incorporated into society with a full time pastor). The first class was organized in 1820 and services were held in a log school house near the Episcopal church. A church formed in 1829, and the society was incorporated in 1835 in the same year as the church building was dedicated.
