The volume opens with records of the founding of the church, including a request to form the church to the Bishop of the Diocese of Western N.Y., (Dec. 1850), the Bishop's agreement (Dec. 19, 1850), and the incorporation notice (July 23, 1851).

Vestry minutes, which include both regular and special meetings (Mar. 28, 1853-Oct. 1, 1883) record the election of church rectors and discussion of their salary, the election of vestrymen, wardens, clerks, treasurers, delegates to Diocesan conventions and the appointment of church sextons.
