ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY
The organization originated as the New York State Home Demonstration Agents' Association in 1934.
The organization later changed its name to the New York State Association of Extension Home Economists (NYSAEHE)
and in 1995 it changed its name to the New York State Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (NYSEAFCS).
