The Central New York Regional Medical Program was a project funded by the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare. Its goals were to increase quality and access to health care, while moderating cost. Under the guidance of a Regional Advisory Group, it worked to foster cooperative efforts to improve health care and provide grants for innovative projects designed to meet its goals. The program was terminated in 1976.
