ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY
A conference of farm bureau officers from 34 New York State counties
resulted in the founding of the New York State Farm Bureau Federation on
February 14, 1917. It's objectives were to encourage cooperation and coordinate
and strengthen the work of New York's farm bureau associations. By 1919, every
county in New York was represented in the Federation.
