Contents include: Early Ithaca, Ithaca Churches, Streets of Ithaca, Military Training and "Concerts," Ithaca Schools and Doctors, Early Lawyers and Transportation, Methods of Transportation, Ithaca's Black Ash Swamp, Floods, Home Manufactures, Railroads and Cottages, Canal Boat Building and Diseases in Fruit, Mechanical Labor, Cornell University.

2. "Papers Relating to the History of The Presbyterian Church, Ithaca, N.Y." by S.J. Parker, ca. 1897
Contents include: List of papers in Possession of Rev. Asa S. Fiske, late Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Ithaca, Rev. William Wisner at Rochester, N.Y., Rev. William C. Wisner, Origin of the Oregon Mission, Personal Remembrances of Ithaca and the First Presbyterian Church. Handwritten manuscript and bound typescript (carbon copy). Original of typescript returned to son of Dr. S.J. Parker 3-62.
