religion, and prices; also, Civil War letters of the Carver brothers of
Savannah, New York; other letters concern life in Montana and the Dakota
territories and western Canada (1870s). Includes correspondence of the
Barnhardt family, Luke Blodgett, D. Watson Davis, Henry Dean, and Aaron Lane;
correspondents include Theodore and W. H. Allen, Lydia Barnhardt, George
Boardman, John and George Coventry, Alex Vattemore, the Salina and Central
Square Plank Road Company, and the Waterloo Woolen Manufacturing
Company.
