Cortland Wheeler Blacksmith's Account Book, 1848-1854 Became property of his wife's nephew, George E. Monroe of Dryden, N.Y. (wife's name: Annette Edgcomb of West Dryden, N.Y.). Apparently later used as a scrapbook, the first 1/3 of the account book contains mounted newspaper clippings of prominent men and women.

Peruville Cheese Factory Lading Account Book, 1869 An account book covering the purchase of milk, conversion into cheese, and the sale of that cheese. Name E.E. Ellis inside front cover.

The volume contains several apparently isolated records. There is no indication as to location. The entries are in the following order: 4 pp. - E.B. Hill - goods bought from various companies and prices paid. The list of goods seems to indicate that E.B. Hill owned a General Store; dated 1848, New York.
3 pp. - Articles of Agreement between Ezra G. Beach and Eli hakes permitting Hakes to cut and take timber from property belonging to Beach, 1859.
1 page - titled Day Book 1880 indicates establishment of partnership between Wm (?) Jonas, Thomas Mason and George F. Smith as dealers in furniture.
3 pp. - titled Sales Book 1880 - furniture sales.
2 pp. - titled Cash - shows cash receipts and expenses, June and July
Balance of book is blank except for one page towards the back set up as a time sheet.
