Abstract::

Papers of the Treman family of Tompkins County, New York, contain business and family material, including correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, and printed matter of Elias Treman and his wife Elizabeth Lovejoy Treman, Robert H. Treman, Charles E. Treman, Robert E. Treman, and Allan H. Treman. Papers of Robert H. (Cornell University Class of 1878) and Robert E. (Cornell University Class of 1909) Treman concerning Cornell, collected during their years as University Trustees, 1891-1953); also, Class of 1878 programs, correspondence, and other items. Account books of Treman Brothers Hardware, Trumansburg, 1838-1839, and miscellaneous business papers of Treman and King Hardware, Ithaca, 1845-1900; Renney family material, 1855-1869; Ithaca, New York memorabilia; Tornado Hook and Ladder Company items; diaries and scrapbooks of travel in Europe, the Middle East, and the United States; Presbyterian Church material; and Ithaca architect William Henry Miller's blueprints and specifications, ca. 1901, for the residence of Robert H.
