ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY
Department was formed in 1985 upon the dividing of the Department of
Design and Environmental Analysis into Textile and Apparel Department and
Department of Interior Design, Planning and Management; Design and
Environmental Analysis had evolved from the Department of Textile and Clothing,
which was formed in 1925.
