BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Alison Lurie was born in 1926 and is the author of
Love and Friendship (1962), Imaginary Friends (1967), The War Between the Tates, Real People (1969), Only Children (1979), Language of Clothes (1981), and other novels. She is a Professor of English at Cornell University.
