ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY
Staff of Cornell's Contraception, Gynecology and Sexuality Service produced and
distributed a variety of publications about sexuality and also sexual violence and met
with students to provide information and counselling on the topic. Staff contributed to
the work of the university wide committee Coalition Advocating Rape Education
(C.A.R.E.). Rosalind Kenworthy began serving as sex counselor for Cornell Health
Services in 1971, and until 1980 was the liaison from Heath Services to Planned
Parenthood of Tompkins County.
