Collection Scope and Content Note

Papers include general correspondence (1930-1972), and correspondence and general reports from Rawlins' work with the Food and Agricultural Organization's Mission to Poland (1947, 1951-1952), and with the Ford Foundation in India (1967-1970); reports, the majority on potato disease, lettuce yellows, aster yellows and carrot rust fly control; data books recording the progress of various potato experiments (1937-1958); county agents' school reports; and miscellaneous radio talks, senate testimony, handbooks, and course material.
