Administrative extension specialist, College of Home Economics,
Cornell University.
Martha Eddy graduated from Vassar College with an A.B. degree in 1905 and was
appointed to the Cornell faculty in 1932. While at Cornell, she was a member of
many policy-making committees in both the Colleges of Home Economics and Agriculture.
During WWII she was head of the Women's Land Army in New York State. After her
retirement in 1949, Eddy was appointed Director of Women's Activities at the New York State Fair.
